Our Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a trusted business partner and thought leader supporting multiple teams in our Drilling Services Division. This individual will effectively represent the Boart Longyear values, our business objectives, and employee/management relationships. In this role you will serve as a key HR contact and partner to drive communication and strategy. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong foundation of Labor Relations and a demonstrated ability of process improvement in a fast-paced operation. This is a full-time permanent position.Responsibilities Conducts weekly meetings with business partners and key stake holders Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs,and policies. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, andobjective investigations. Support the development of Labor Relations strategies that align with business objectives. Lead investigations as needed through investigations. Manage layoff and recall processes. Oversee job separations, terminations and settlements. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management ofemployees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legaldepartment as needed/required. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching,counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale,and increase productivity and retention. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Provides guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning. Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up toensure training objectives are met.Minimum Qualifications Must be authorized to work in the US Must have valid Driver’s License Bachelor's degree. SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred 3+ years HR experience with demonstrated track record of success. Proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently, performing wellunder pressure, and meeting deadlines, while ensuring acute attention to detail and accuracy. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices,organizational diagnosis, employee and relations, diversity, performance management, andfederal and state respective employment laws.
