This is a Design and File Prep position.
You will NOT be running any machines.
You will NOT be asked to work with customers / clients.

Join our fast pace, busy and creative team as a Prepress Graphic Designer where you'll play the most essential role in ensuring customer-supplied files are print-ready and meet all necessary specifications before they hit the press. Our lively and fun work environment offers the opportunity to apply your skills in graphic design, print production, and prepress software while collaborating with talented colleagues.
With ( 2 ) Two additional designers to assist with the workload , you'll be an integral part of delivering high-quality expedited output and a seamless printing process for our international and local customers.Key Responsibilities:
Review and optimize customer-supplied files, ensuring they are print-ready and meet all specifications, guidelines, and quality standards.
Showcase your troubleshooting skills by resolving issues with customer files, including color, layout, font, image resolution, and file format compatibility.
Enhance files by making necessary adjustments, including resizing, cropping, retouching, color correction, and file format conversion, to ensure exceptional print quality.
Collaborate with our innovative design team to create or modify customer artwork, optimizing all design elements for print production.
Contribute to the final stages of printing by creating imposition layouts, generating proofs, and outputting production-ready files.
Maintain accurate records of customer files, job specifications, and revisions, ensuring a streamlined prepress process.
Build strong relationships through communication with sales representatives, and production team members to clarify job requirements and address concerns or questions.
Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in prepress technology, software, and processes.
Work closely with our dedicated production team to guarantee a smooth transition from prepress to press, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during the printing process.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, color theory, typography, and print production processes.
Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Familiarity with various printing methods, such as offset, digital, and large format printing, is a plus.
