Job Title:Director, Retention MarketingRole Overview:The Director of Retention Marketing for Channel Led is a strategic leader responsible for maximizing revenue and retention rate of customers acquired through Retail and PC OEM partnerships globally. This leader will craft and execute data-driven marketing campaigns that optimize the customer journey from installation and activation through retention. They will work closely with Retention leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with Partner Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders to formulate strategies, capture business requirements, ensure seamless day-to-day execution, address bottlenecks and report on progress and outcomes. Leading a team of digital marketing professionals, they will act as a business owner, monitoring and reporting on key business metrics to senior leadership.This is a remote job based in the United States or Canada. We will only consider candidates based in United States or Canada and are not offering relocation at this time.About the Role:Business Ownership
Craft and execute strategies to improve business performance of customers acquired through channel partners, focusing on revenue and retention rates, and underlying key metrics
Monitor, evaluate and report on key metrics relating to bookings, retention rates, customer journey and campaign performance for the portion of the retention business within your scope
Lifecycle Marketing
Lead the strategy, creation, and execution of comprehensive integrated marketing campaigns aimed at increasing awareness, fostering understanding, and driving growth through retention
Lead creative optimization for the customer journey to improve the customer relationship and drive engagement, while focusing on key monetization opportunities
Develop and execute testing strategies to optimize retention and monetization through personalized offers, promotions and messaging
Perform end-to-end monitoring of campaign execution and performance
Advocate for the consumer and partners, ensuring consistency in visuals and messaging across programs, audiences, and regions within the business
Team Leadership
Manage a dedicated team of marketers within your organization
Work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage stakeholders and drive initiatives
About You:
7+ years of experience in account management, ecommerce or lifecycle marketing
Past experience running a large multi-million-dollar business with accountability for financial results
Experience managing agency & outside partners (media, creative, and research)
Comprehensive understanding of the a/b testing process and data-driven experimentation; knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or other analytics & testing platforms
Passion for and demonstrated track record of driving initiatives that improve customer experience and monetization; experience with consumer-facing SaaS business models
Strong business acumen and understanding of financial performance, underlying drivers and levers
Strong execution skills including proven ability to drive multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Exhibit excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, along with persuasive verbal and written communication abilities
Team player that develops strong relationships, is able to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment to accomplish strategic objective
Past experience managing people
Background in high-growth or transformation-focused businesses
Familiarity with global businesses, tech industries, software-as-a-service business models, B2C & B2B2C distribution channels are desirable
