The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of ADHD, borderline personality disorder, and other externalizing conditions in adults. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.Teaching responsibilities may include didactic and clinical teaching of psychiatry residents, child/adolescent psychiatry fellows, and psychology interns and post-doctoral trainees, with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of ADHD and borderline personality disorder across the lifespan.Clinical responsibilities may include neuropsychological evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment of patients with externalizing pathology, especially those with overlapping symptoms of ADHD and personality disorders.Research or scholarship responsibilities may include translational research in the etiology, development and treatment of impulsive behavior, suicidal behavior, and affective instability across the lifespan.
