Server Job Description Blue Plate Restaurant Group is a group of small, neighborhood restaurants that serve fresh, healthy innovative food combined with warm efficient service. Position Summary: The Server ensures all guests are provided with prompt and friendly service according to Tacolina service manual. The Server is well-versed in the entire food and beverage menu and able to guide guests to an excellent overall experience. Accurate ringing, working efficiently and respectfully, alongside teammates to ensure all guests have a great experience, awareness of food seasonality and specials at the restaurant, able to advocate for their guests and have excellent follow-through. A great server establishes a relationship with the guest and encourages regulars. Requirements and Working Conditions: Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive Strong attention to detail Must have basic wine and spirits knowledge. In depth agave spirits knowledge is a plus General Baja cuisine knowledge a plus Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills Ability to work positively in a fast-paced team environment Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Two years experience in a full-service restaurant preferred Basic math skills and technology proficiency required Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed. Continuous use of hands and arms, continuous bending, reaching and twisting.
