Kit Assembler/ Packer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production & Shipping Associate to join our team in Aurora, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mail-back and other product kits, picking stock items, packing orders for shipment, and ensuring the efficient and safe transit of items.

Location:

Aurora, IL

Shift:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (OT Saturdays as required)

Pay Rate:

$18.00 plus per hour

Key Responsibilities:

-Assemble product kits according to established procedures.

-Pick items from printed pick lists to fulfill customer orders.

-Pack orders for shipment, ensuring efficient use of materials and the safety of items in transit.

-Unload, inspect, and report on the status of inbound inventory receipts.

-Use computer systems to execute outbound order shipments.

-Stock pick and rack locations to meet projected demand requirements.

-Perform physical inventory counts.

-Provide feedback to management on ways to increase efficiencies and improve customer service.

-Participate in LEAN process improvement activities.

-Maintain accurate records and perform other related duties as required or requested.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent education, demonstrating the ability to understand and follow established safety measures.

-Minimum of three months of plant/warehouse experience or related work experience.

-Ability to operate equipment such as, hand carts/2-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks.

-Familiarity with computer software applications, including Order Management Systems (OMS) and shipping software.

-Strong attention to safety, with the ability to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures.
