Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThe Senior Director Cloud Engineering is responsible for defining end to end system engineering and software architecture for Segment Engineering ServiceNow and ServiceNow-adjacent systems. This position is accountable to provide end to end system engineering along with software details of applications for current initiatives as well as digital transformation program. Primary clients of this team are all software development teams.The Main Responsibilities Accountable for the following job functions:o Software Architectureo End to End System Engineering Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support in the development and deployment of complex applications in global distributed computing environments. Provide leadership and oversight in partnering with senior management to ensure architecture defines and demonstrates the interoperability, scalability, and portability of applications and their subcomponents. Execute a light‐weight architectural governance model to ensure architecturally impactful decisions are kept during the course of project implementation. Create and maintain artifacts describing business goals & KPIs, balanced scorecards. Accountable for management of future state roadmaps encompassing detailed software architecture. Ensure overall solution‐level integrity of applications. Collaborate with architects to identify strategic opportunities and in the rationalization of cross segment dependencies for software applications. Apply professional expertise and skills to review/evaluate vendor proposals submitted for the attainment of technology services and solutions to determine adherence to architectural guidelines, specifications and investment strategy. Plan, develop, and work with Engineering and the Portfolios to administer complex proof-of-concept and/or special projects related to strategic initiatives or technology advancements. Pursue professional development opportunities to advance knowledge and expertise in the area of core business and technical architecture; remain current in market trends/practices (e.g., methodology, tools, technical specifications, and other developments) to analyze and determine whether systems align with established standards.What We Look For in a Candidate

BS/BA or equivalent education and experience

7-10 years related experience in cloud and network development

3+ years acting in a lead role

Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform development and architecture.

Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow internals, including data model, scripting, and API integration.

Demonstrated ability to build complex systems, integrations, and customizations.

Strong focus on system performance tuning and optimization.

Expertise in implementing and maintaining robust security measures.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.

CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
