Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Washington, District of Columbia. This role focuses on administrative tasks in a busy office environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing schedules, handling inquiries, and maintaining office inventory.Responsibilities: Efficiently manage the scheduling and calendar of the Director of Education. Handle and resolve any benefits-related inquiries promptly. Oversee the preparation of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage office inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining records. Ensure smooth operation of the office by answering inbound calls and handling customer inquiries. Utilize computer programs and CRM systems to maintain accurate customer records. Manage travel arrangements for the Director of Education, including booking flights. Perform various clerical duties, including filing, copying, and data entry. Use excellent communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and superiors. Maintain a high level of organization to ensure efficient operation of the office. Requirements Proficiency in computer programs, including the ability to learn and use new software quickly. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Ability to handle inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy. Experience performing billing functions, such as invoicing and payment processing. Familiarity with a range of clerical duties, such as filing, typing, and copying. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
