Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Service Associate in Insurance Services, H& B (Cobra Process) in Rochester, New York. As a key part of our team, you'll be involved in servicing our insurance product and maintaining customer relations. You will also be responsible for handling customer claims and complaints, and ensuring they are resolved in accordance with our policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain positive relationships with our clients, participants, insurance carriers, and internal partners. Utilize your COBRA knowledge to answer questions and solve complex issues. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring they are resolved fairly. Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. Keep up-to-date documentation related to COBRA to comply with service agreements. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Correspond via email with both internal partners, clients, and insurance carriers. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. Meet team and individual metrics for the position. Requirements Proven experience in customer service and documentation procedures Knowledge of insurance policies, billing, and claim administration Ability to answer inbound calls and address customer complaints effectively Familiarity with health insurance and insurance carrier operations Experience in COBRA administration and service agreements is a plus Understanding of metric reporting and ability to work with partners Proficiency with Paychex and other insurance industry software Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex information clearly Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures Must be a team player with a positive attitude and high level of professionalism Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
