Req Number 134691Job DescriptionSupervises and coordinates with the leadership to ensure efficient operations of Hospice Care services and delivery of optimal customer service. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and regulatory agencies.Job Responsibility

Leads the activities of assigned Hospice Care team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. Prepares and analyzes operational and statistical reports.

Reports operational performance and recommends justification for procedural and policy changes to improve operations.

Establishes goals, objectives, and standards and ensures effective communication to staff.

Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.

Builds and maintains productive intra-departmental work relationships to optimize operations by attending departmental and inter-departmental meetings, sitting in on committees as necessary, and assist with special projects.

Ensures operating compliance with government and agency regulations.

Manages resources including operating budget, supplies, equipment, space, staff and information.

Job Qualification

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.

Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
