Mindful Mushrooms is hiring for 2 mushroom farm crew members - one to work 2 days per week and the other to work 3 days per week. We are looking to fill open positions on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This entry-level farm position is for someone comfortable with manual labor and repetitious, assembly-line work.
Employees will be responsible for identifying and harvesting mature mushrooms in our indoor fruiting room and neatly storing them in bins. They will remove contaminated grow blocks and uphold cleaning, maintenance, and organizational standards. They will also move myceliated grow blocks from our lab into the fruiting room, organize them onto appropriate shelves, and cut them open for fruiting. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and be comfortable working alone.
This farm is very dog friendly, so if you have a friendly and well-behaved dog, you can bring them. We are an LGBTQ-owned farm, and homophobia, transphobia, and racism will NOT be accepted.
