Assistant Staff Civil Engineer – Laramie, WY

Trihydro Corporation is seeking a civil engineer to join our Laramie, WY office. This role plays a part in our Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit and will assist in providing clients across many industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. As a member of our team, you will assist with developing solutions for water agencies, municipalities, and private clients addressing civil infrastructure and water resource needs and improvements. You will develop or improve infrastructure systems including water, sanitary sewer, transportation, and stormwater. In this role, you will have responsibilities such as:

Performing technical research

Performing design calculations

Drafting figures, preparing construction plan sets, and design modeling

Preparing technical memorandums and reports

Developing cost estimates

Preparing permit applications

Conducting field data collection, performing site inspections and inventories, and performing construction observation, monitoring and reporting

This role is for you if:

You have 0+ years of engineering design experience and are looking for opportunities to build your technical foundation.

You have experience with and/or are interested in civil infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, and water resources.

You are an engineer-in-training (E.I.T. or F.E.) or have plans to obtain your E.I.T. or F.E. within 6 months.

You’re experienced in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or related CADD programs (not required, but this experience will allow you to hit the ground running).

You possess strong technical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness; and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

You have an interest and ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices.

You understand the importance of time management and possess excellent organizational skills.
