We are seeking an exceptional Head of Product for Email capabilities to re-imagine our email marketing platform and build out a delightful customer experience . In this pivotal role, you will drive a comprehensive strategy that encompasses the experiences for all our SMB and mid-market customers across industries and verticals. In this hands-on leadership role your mission will be to deeply understand millions of diverse SMB customers , their marketing goals to reach their end consumers and build a hyper-personalized experience that feels unique to each customer. You will manage a distributed team of product managers in a complex environment, while owning the future vision and roadmap of a core product. You'll provide a strong product vision and acumen, creativity and innovation, and work across both strategic and operational initiatives to build effective bridges and alignment through trusted partnerships.What you'll bring
10+ years of experience working in consumer product leadership roles. Experience leading a high performing product team and driving thought leadership through them
Proven track record of successfully scaling a company and managing teams of leaders and individual contributors. Ability to attract and retain top talent.
Leadership - Leads through constant change and ambiguity, keeping teams highly motivated through ups and downs. Strikes the right balance between shielding the team and creating accountability for success.
Sought after manager, mentor, and coach - Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining world-class product managers and managers of product managers. Past direct reports are passionate about working with them.

MBA preferred with experience
How you will leadAs our Head of Product for Email Capabilities, you will:
Drive the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for Email capabilities, including building core horizontal capabilities, delightful UX and leveraging generative AI to build highly innovative content experiences across complex journeys
Form a deep understanding of Mailchimp’s email product, customers, and mar-tech strategies
Think like a general manager of the product working backwards from big revenue goals while balancing revenue outcomes with product quality, speed and consumer needs
Build a hyper-personalized experience that brings to life the concept of ‘segment of one’ that is inclusive of the needs of small businesses and mid market businesses, amateurs and pros, solving simple and complex problems across industries and business verticals.
Build strong platform capabilities that ensure stability and credibility around delivery, further enhancing the customer experience
Work closely with analytics to define an experimentation and measurement strategy that optimizes for long-term success and helps build confidence around predicting winning experiments
Drive rigorous prioritization and investment decisions necessary to deliver your team’s vision and roadmaps
Build and lead an exceptional team of 5+ PMs including managers of PMs. Lead the team with product rigor and customer and data obsessed decision making at a fast pace. Hold high standards, drive accountability, encourage diverse perspectives and debates - all while not compromising kindness and empathy. Build and sustain a cohesive culture that brings together highly successful groups of people of diverse backgrounds that use strong communication, thought leadership and customer obsession to build world class products.
Promote the health of the product organization by coaching/mentoring, participating in recruiting, and contributing to other product org programs.
