STABLE HAND NEEDED | HORSE TRAINING FACILITY

A PART-TIME Stable Hand is needed for a horse training facility between Brighton and Thornton. Feeding and watering for 20-28 horses. General facility cleaning. The facility includes ten stalls, twenty paddocks, and various outdoor areas. This is a NON-RIDING position.

Daily Duties include but are not limited to:

Feeding and Watering (hay and grain/supplements)

Muck and bed ten stalls

Muck outdoor paddocks

Clean/tidy barn

Blanketing as directed (seasonal)

Maintenance

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience handling horses.

General knowledge of horse care and behavior, including signs of illness, injury, etc.

Able to consistently and safely lift 75-pound hay bales and other heavy equipment.

Dependable and able to work independently and efficiently is a must.

Ability to drive farm vehicles.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

If you don’t want to lift heavy things, get dirty, or dislike routine, then this job is not for you.

$21 per hour to start

Saturday and Sunday | 16-20 hours a week
