CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR NEEDED (Ornamental Iron/structural steel)

We are looking to hire a Experienced Estimator / in Office Project Manager for Ornamental Iron, structural steel and Stairways

Full time

Monday thru Friday.

We are looking for a candidate that has strong work ethic, positive attitude, solution based thinker, friendly & professional demeanor, dependable, punctual, ability to multi-task & prioritize, has common sense, good general computer knowledge (word, excel & outlook), has the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently and has willingness to learn other skills and take on other duties as needed.

Some responsibility's (but not limited to)

- Plan Take-offs/estimates/structural steel estimating (commercial & Residential)

-Drafting skills REQUIRED

- Submittals, Job Tags

- Download and Print job plans

- Keep invite list up to date on Excel

- Research material pricing

- Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook

- Send bids to GC’s prior to due date

- Correspond with GC’s & distributors in a professional manner

- Research/find local jobs and contractors to bid with

- Other duties as assigned.

Starting Hourly wage range will depend on experience. Please email your resume if interested.
