Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Windows C / C Software Engineer to join

our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role will be to transition our existing C / C / MFC / Win32 codebase to modern Windows technology. You will play a key role in defining the technology stack based on product requirements and collaborate closely with a team of skilled developers.

Responsibilities:

Transition existing applications to modern Windows frameworks (e.g., WPF, UWP,

WinUI 3)

Define and implement the technology stack for new applications

Collaborate with C/C Linux Developers, Python/MySQL Database Developer,

Python Systems Developer, and Java/Tomcat Developer

Ensure the security and performance of client-server architecture

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers

Maintain high standards of software quality and implement industry-standard best

practices, including technical documentation and unit tests

Salary and Benefits:

$125,000 - $175,000 per year

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

Proven experience building and shipping applications using modern Windows

frameworks

Strong proficiency in C and up-to-date knowledge of the language

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with client-server architecture, security protocols, GitHub, AWS, Linux,

MySQL

Knowledge of securities data on stocks, bonds, etc., is a plus

Knowledge of trusts or banking is a plus

Publicly available code, via GitHub for instance, is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with transitioning legacy codebases to modern frameworks, ideally with

shipped examples

Experience with financial industry compliance and security requirements, including

SOC-2 reviews and PII encryption

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Flexibility in dealing with changing requirements
