Our client is seeking the following:

Job Title: Architectural Project Engineer / Drafter

Position Location: Vermont / in-office

Approx. Length of Position: Direct hire

Degree Required: Degree is preferred but not required

Requirements:

You will be responsible for supporting high-end projects from proposal and design to completion, organizing and gathering information to ensure superior execution. There is excellent growth potential with this opportunity.

General project involvement including communication with architects & contractors

Read and analyze architectural prints and specifications to understand and translate project requirements for the purpose of drafting shop drawings with input from management

Identify project inconsistencies and resource requirements or conflicts with the team.

Help create, organize and maintain files related to production and engineering requirements.

Work with production team to review job requirements and manage changes in drawings

Ensure adherence to contract specifications and be involved constructively in quality control.

Communicate clearly and effectively with team to manage deadlines and timelines.

Take a team player approach to all projects while also being able to work independently

Ideally, 5-10 years of relevant professional experience with window /door design + carpentry / millwork background

Technical

Professional experience with AutoCAD and/or other engineering software is required.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines.

Detail oriented

Knowledge of architectural millwork and construction processes.

Have a positive, high service orientated job mentality.
