Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join a great company. This is for a commercial underground utility company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling diesel engines used in various equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines in farm machinery, construction equipment tractor-trailers, cranes, and industrial equipment a plus

- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups

- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in diesel engines

- Assemble and disassemble engine components for inspection and repair

- Solder and weld components as needed for repairs

Qualifications

- Proven experience in diesel engine repair, automotive repair, or related field

- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of diesel engines

- Knowledge of HVAC systems in vehicles is a plus

- Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
