Banking Solutions Representative - State Tower Our Banking Solutions Representatives have a passion for excellence in customer service and are focused in their goal of doing what is right for our customers. They are responsible for providing accurate high-quality customer service on both the teller and platform line. Our Banking Solutions Representatives provide a complete range of customer services including but not limited to, opening new accounts, explaining available products and services, and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts. They advise customers on financial services, supporting the achievement of retail sales goals, and have excellent communication skills. JOB RESPONSBILITIES

Delivers excellence in customer service, education, guidance and respect to all Solvay Bank customers and co-workers in accordance with the Solvay Bank Client Service Standards.

Thoroughly understands, embraces and exhibits Solvay Bank Values and serves as an example to others in actions and words.

Takes personal initiative in welcoming Bank customers, assessing customer needs, and responding appropriately through personal service or re-direction to the appropriate party.

Educates and assists customers with opening various types of deposit, loan accounts and changes to existing accounts. Is an expert on all of the Bank’s Digital Banking products and actively uses them. Provides information on products and services that meet the customer’s needs and wants in accordance with all Bank policies and procedures.

Instructs and assists customers in the use of all automated banking products.

Actively and professionally cross-sells Bank products and other Bank services; referring customers to other departments as appropriate.

Enthusiastically meets and exceeds sales goals, referrals, and marketing of various bank products and services. Regularly uses the Bank’s Client Contact software.

Processes customer check orders; accepts stop payment requests and address changes, distributing to the proper personnel for processing.

Demonstrates the ability to comply with Bank regulation and policy as it pertains to responsibilities and the overall security of the Bank, customers, employees and assets.

Assists customers with Safe Deposit access, questions, and procedures.

Accurately maintains and balances daily cash drawer, and completes various customer transactions.

Receives checks and cash for deposit; verifying amount and appropriate endorsement.

Ability to perform and balance duties associated with Teller and Customer Service Representative job functions based on needs of the branch

Completes all duties associated with counting and balancing automated banking machines and night deposits as necessary.

Assists with daily scanning to balance branch

Actively supports and participates in outbound call efforts to build banking relationship with clients

Adheres to established policies, procedures and federal regulations.

Performs other tasks requested by supervisor/manager as they relate to the bank and its functions.

Ability to maintain operations of the branch in absence of Manager and/or Assistant

Adheres to Information Security policies and related regulatory policies, procedures and standards designed to protect customer and Bank-owned information.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one year retail banking experience or equivalent

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; a high comfort level with learning computer applications and ability to adjust to new applications

Exceptional customer service standards

Ability to multi-task while dealing with all types of customers, procedures and expectations
