About The Job
Dudek is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to be a team leader for permitting, licensing, planning, and construction compliance services with a focus on energy development projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. This is a hybrid position associated with our Seattle office. The individual will be self-driven with a proven track record implementing all phases of the project development process with a focus on land use entitlements for energy projects, conditional use permits, and permitting. The candidate will have experience with the WA EFSEC & OR EFSC application processes, WA SEPA, OR Land Use Goals, early stage due-diligence review, permitting projects with multiple agencies and stakeholders, preconstruction processing, construction support and O&M services.

Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below):
Promote a culture of teamwork, engagement, quality service, and customer satisfaction to our clients
Foster client connections through existing client relationships and proactive business development while working with others to anticipate and pursue work
Enhance Dudek’s professional reputation and demonstrate the ability to be creative and innovative with these tasks while representing Dudek in a professional manner
Prepare land use entitlement packages, aquatic resources permitting packages, environmental technical reports, critical issues analyses and lead stakeholder outreach programs.
Prepare WA SEPA applications and technical reports
Lead the preparation, organization, and production of environmental compliance management plans, permit applications, and other environmental documents to guide compliance implementation during the project lifecycle.
Work with project team members to track environmental commitments to support the implementation of permit conditions on a variety of projects.
Coordinate with client, field personnel, and environmental resource specialists to ensure permit conditions are implemented during construction.
Prepare bid documents and proposals.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years’ experience
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, or other related field.
Experience permitting energy projects throughout all stages of the project.
Familiarity with local, state and federal permitting
Must demonstrate strong technical writing and research skills as well as solid written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment
As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, WA Department of Ecology, and OR Department of State Lands permitting regulations under the Clean Water Act (404 and 401) and wildlife agencies
Experience preparing WA SEPA applications and environmental technical reports
Experience preparing OR Land Use Goal Exception applications
Knowledge of land use policies throughout the Pacific Northwest
Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment
Self-motivated with an interest to learn and grow as a project team
Physical Requirements
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
This job requires working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting.
This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc. Speaking, hearing and listening are required.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Proposed Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 annually
Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
