Diesel Engine Mechanic

Moga Transport is seeking a Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our staff.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic, repair, and preventative maintenance on medium to heavy duty truck and trailer equipment.

Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required for DOT and BIT inspection.

Document equipment information and repairs completed on work order, including parts and fluids used.

Maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.

Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment within the area of scope.

Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified.

Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management.

Perform all other duties as assigned efficiently.

Job Requirements:

Excellent mechanical skills on diesel truck and trailer equipment

Current and valid driver's license required

Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment

Strong computer skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Salary depends on experience and knowledge
