Job Summary:This is a supervisory position for the Vail Mountain Security department. Responsible for leadership of day to day departmental operations and communication with Manager, Asst. Mgr. & Team Lead for One on Ones & performance management/evaluations of seasonal patrol staff. This is an hourly position.Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:
Lead and organize daily operations of the department.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest and employee issues and requests.
Respond to emergency situations and ensure that required notifications are promptly made.
Track, organize, and ensure completion of monthly building inspections and associated audits.
Focus on safety by leading daily briefings and participating in monthly staff meetings.
Ensure incident reports are completed and followed up on.
Oversee fire and life safety systems of Vail Mountain facilities.
Ensure functionality of access control systems.
Assist Manager, Assistant Manager, and Supervisor in evaluating team member’s day to day performance.
Maintain a dialogue with Assistant Manager & Supervisor regarding training/development requests and needs of team members.
Promote an inclusive, safe, productive, enjoyable work environment.
Foster relationships with all mountain and company departments.
Be a positive representative of Vail Resorts, its values, and its mission “Experience of a Lifetime”.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
One year in Security or relevant field
Valid driver’s license
Proficient with Microsoft applications
Fluent in English
Background check
CPR, Advanced First Aid, knowledge of Vail Mountain, knowledge of VR policies.
The expected pay range is $23.00 - $27.94. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
