Pipe Foreman Position Overview

As a Pipe Foreman at WA Underground Inc., you’ll be the cornerstone of our excavation team. Your leadership and expertise will guide our projects to successful completion, ensuring that every detail is executed with precision and safety. Pipe Foreman Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of pipe installation crews on-site.

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Oversee the proper installation, inspection, and maintenance of piping systems.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.

Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower.

Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently.

Pipe Foreman Qualifications

Proven experience in pipe installation and excavation.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Valid OSHA and relevant including Confined Space, Trench Safety, CPR certifications are a plus.

Pipe Layer Position Overview

As a Pipe Layer at WA Underground Inc., you will be the manager of elevation, flow line, understanding sewer pipe lasers, reading plans, side profiles that include slop percentage. You would ensure structures are set at correct elevation with proper safety and OSHA regulations.

Pipe Layer Qualifications

Proven experience as a pipelayer with a strong understanding of pipe flow line installation and testing the new installation.

Experience is percentage slope.

Knowledge of safe excavation techniques, trenching, and pipe alignment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.

Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in pipeline installation.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Valid OSHA and relevant including Confined Space, Trench Safety, CPR certifications are a plus.

Laborer Position Overview

As a Laborer at WA Underground Inc., you will be a vital part of our excavation projects, supporting a variety of tasks and ensuring that operations run smoothly. Your role will involve performing manual labor, assisting skilled tradespeople, and maintaining a safe and organized work site. Laborer Key Responsibilities

Perform general manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying (up to 50lbs), and organizing materials.

Assist equipment operators, pipelayers, and other skilled tradespeople with various tasks on-site.

Prepare and clean work sites, including setting up and taking down equipment and temporary structures.

Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Operate basic hand and power tools as required.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of debris and waste materials appropriately.

Report any site issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Laborer Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or excavation is a plus, but not required.

Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of safety practices and the ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks as needed.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work.

Operator Position Overview

As an Excavation Equipment Operator at WA Underground Inc., you’ll be at the forefront of our excavation projects, operating a range of machinery to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Your role is crucial in driving the success of our projects and maintaining the high standards we are known for.

Operator Key Responsibilities

Operate various excavation equipment, including backhoes, bulldozers, and excavators, to complete digging, grading, and earth-moving tasks.

Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute excavation tasks according to project specifications.

Monitor equipment performance and perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues or hazards on the job site.

Operator Qualifications

Proven experience operating excavation equipment with a solid understanding of machinery and its capabilities.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in excavation operations.

Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Valid OSHA and relevant including Confined Space, Trench Safety, CPR certifications are a plus.

Loader Operator understanding in support to mainline crews including pipe placement, feeding pipe bedding. Loading trucks, unloading pipe in a proper and orderly sewer, water and storm for simple access.

Dozer Operator – GPS experience is a plus. Our dozers are equipped with GPS technology. Understand plans, grades, slopes, sidewalk grading, road grading, lot grading, pond grading, and fine grading

Excavator Operator – GPS experience a plus. Our excavators are equipped with GPS technology. Understand plans, grades, slopes, mainline digging (sewer, water, storm and structure placement), and trench safety.
