Description We are seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for patient check-in, registration, and managing the patient messaging system. You will also handle customer inquiries and maintain accurate records. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process patient registrations and check-ins for appointments Efficiently collect and record copays from patients Maintain and update patient records in the CRM system Handle inbound calls and resolve customer inquiries Monitor patient accounts and take necessary actions Assist with the patient messaging system Manage authorizations and benefit functions Prepare and manage patient charts and graphs.Requirements Proficiency in CRM software to manage and analyze customer interactions and data. Experience in handling and answering inbound calls, providing effective customer service. Ability to perform authorizations, ensuring all necessary permissions are in place for various processes. Knowledge of benefit functions, including understanding and explaining employee benefits. Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs for the purpose of data visualization and analysis. Proven ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrable ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Strong customer service focus and ability to empathize with patients. High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Prior experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role would be advantageous.
