URGENT Project Manager - Commercial Flooring

Position Description: We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking to ensure timely and successful project delivery, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant project team members.

Employment Type: Full Time

Wage: $55,000 | Based On Experience | Competitive Pay

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer

Location: 23 Corporate Circle, Suite 1, East Syracuse, NY, 13027

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for handling flooring projects for commercial clients from beginning to completion.

Manage multiple projects with clients and manage installation crews through completion.

Looking for someone with flooring installation experience.

Discuss jobs with client project managers and site superintendents.

Schedule upcoming jobs.

Oversee purchasing for each job.

Must be able to read and measure blueprints.

Assign crews and go over specifications for each job with crew lead before dispatching

Oversee van load for each job.

Speak with crews to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise while they are on the jobsite.

Speak with clients to resolve any issues that may arise.

Relay progress updates daily to clients.

Create and track Change Orders through approval.

Be available to take calls from crew members at night and on weekends as needed.

Be familiar and competent with using Email and Microsoft office. Typing skills are a plus.
