Subcontractor Handyman OR Labor with Advancement

Compensation: $30 - $50 per hour (depending on skill level)

Job Type: Initially part-time (20-30 hours per week), full-time after the first few weeks.

Payment: Weekly (1099 position, paid weekly for the previous week's hours)

Responsibilities:

As a Handyman Subcontractor with WiseChoice, your role will involve:

- Very important Conducting estimates in customer homes using our company software (we provide and schedule the estimates for you based on hour abilities and where you prefer to work)

- General repairs and maintenance tasks

- Providing your own reliable transportation and tools

Demonstrating proficiency in a range of skills, including:

- Drywall repair (including texture matching)

- Painting (using tape and caulk with precision)

- Basic carpentry (light framing and repairs, both interior and exterior trim)

- Basic plumbing (fixture and toilet replacements, including garbage disposals)

- Basic electrical (fixture and outlet replacements)

- Additional Skills

If you possess expertise in any of the following areas, you'll earn a higher hourly rate:

- Flooring (tile and LVP installation)

- Finish carpentry (baseboards and door casings)

- Plumbing (working with PEX and replacing valves)

- Electrical (running new lines and box work)

Requirements:

- Comfortable working at heights, including on roofs and using ladders up to 20 feet

- Consistency and reliability in work attendance

- Good communication skills

- Valid drivers license

- Demonstrated abilities (proof of work)
