Automotive Technician / Smog Technician $32-$45/hr
Bonita Point Auto Care is hiring an automotive technician with a smog test and repair license. We are a family owned and operated repair facility that has been in business for 32 years. We have a trained team of service advisors with over 60 years of combined industry experience. We have a high monthly car count of approximately 650 vehicles per month with a high average repair order. There is always plenty of work. We are especially interested in a motivated technician that is able to work well in a team setting and one that is able to work independently to get jobs done. We expect for you to have a strong ability to accurately diagnose vehicles and perform the recommended repairs. Expectations:
- Arrive to work on time and maintain a positive attitude!
- Must have own set of tools
- Keep a clean & safe work space
- Have adequate repair knowledge of foreign & domestic vehicles
- Prior repair facility or dealership experience is mandatory
- Strong diagnosing skills (i.e. MIL, ABS, VSA, Smog failure, suspension, addressing customer concerns, etc.)
- Smog Technicians must have a STAR score of 0.40 or higher
