New York Fashion Jewelry Brand Seeks Showroom Intern

Popular New York based jewelry/creative design brand seeks a hardworking, detail oriented intern to assist its press team with managing showroom space.

Job Details:

We are a New York based jewelry and accessories design company creating one of a kind punk inspired pieces with a futuristic twist. Our prospective intern will be assisting the Communications Manager, working in our showroom space and coordinating the delivery and return of our jewelry/accessory samples for editorial shoots, VIP clientele, and other special projects. Must be able to work in house 2-3 weekdays minimum. This work includes:

-Corresponding with fashion editors and stylists to accomodate sample requests

-Archiving sample requests, inventory, and additional documents via Google Drive

-Keeping record of samples; handling repairs, damages, and losses as needed

-Maintaining the showroom space, ensuring it is presentable for meetings and appointments

-Curating press clippings to be archived and shared on social media

Qualifications:

-Experience using Google Drive is a

-Previous experience working in retail/merchandising is a plus

-Ideally someone with a strong interest in press/PR as well as jewelry/fashion.

-Experience with photo/video editing programs (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, iMovie, Canva, Capcut, etc) preferred

-Strong communication skills

-Must be punctual, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.

-MUST LIVE IN THE NYC AREA, be able to commute to our Chinatown studio and navigate through the city

Intern will be provided a daily lunch stipend, accommodation for travel, as well as a jewelry trade allowance upon completion of the internship. School credit is also available upon request.
