Coffee Roastery Production Associate and Delivery Driver

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Associate will support Flying Goat Coffee’s operations through all facets of order fulfillment. A successful candidate has a strong work ethic, is detail-oriented, proactive, has excellent communication skills and enjoys physical work.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as part of a fast-paced team to fulfill wholesale, retail and webstore coffee orders accurately and efficiently.

Operate weigh and fill machines, band sealers, scales and grinders.

Up to three times per week, this position requires loading, driving and delivering regional orders to our wholesale customers throughout the North and East Bay.

Communicate with team members on a regular basis to ensure accurate fulfillment and production.

Show initiative, present a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take direction.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Ability to self-manage and work independently, but also work with and support a team

Attention-to-detail

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Valid and clean California Driver’s License

Able to confidently drive a large Sprinter van throughout the North and East Bay Area

Able to lift 50 lbs

Punctual with a positive outlook

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Familiarity with fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse work

Coffee knowledge a plus

WAGES, HOURS AND BENEFITS:

Part-time: 25 to 30 hours per week (full-time option may be available)

$18 to $20 per hour (depending on experience)
