Certified Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionPurpose & Scope:Under supervision of a registered pharmacist, performs the technical tasks involved with the storage, distribution, packaging, labeling of medication and associated record-keeping and patient billing systems.Education:High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experience:Three years of experience in an institutional setting is preferred.Certification/Licensure:Licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required.
