Beverage Equipment Service Technician
Job Description:
Associated Beverage Repair has been a family owned business since 2011. We service commercial beverage equipment including coffee, tea and frozen beverage machines. We do repairs as well as installations of all beverage equipment for our customers. We are committed to bringing exceptional service to the beverage industry through professionalism, experience and hard work.
We are seeking individuals with excellent customer service skills, good attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to apply their technical skills throughout the work day. You will spend your day servicing customers within 100 miles of the Charlotte area. There will be times when weekend work will be required. Pay is flexible based on experience level.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform installations, repairs and maintenance on commercial beverage equipment at our customer's location.
Diagnose issues, replace necessary parts and test equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to be able to perform service on the equipment.
Use a variety of hand and power tools and electric meters.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers.
Maintain company vehicles in good working condition, arrange for them to get routine maintenance and be sure that all documentation is kept up to date and in the vehicle at all times.
Must be able to cover emergency calls on weekends on a rotating basis.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Must have basic plumbing knowledge, experience using bev flex and poly tubing is preferred
Must have moderate electrical knowledge and be able to read volts, amps, ohms and continuity on a multi-meter
Occasional weekend availability
Ability to lift heavy equipment on occasion that may exceed 50 lbs.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
