Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Come lead our Occupational Health Department at Mercy Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England!This Area Site Manager position will be based out of Mercy Medical Center in Springfield MA and includes Employee Health responsibilities for Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs CT.Position PurposeThe Area Site Manager is accountable for the clinical and administrative management of the Occupational Health Clinic’s Employee Health division. Coordinates direct patient care in a clinic setting, coordinates and supervises workers' compensation medical case management for Trinity Health Of New England (and affiliate) employees, as well as pre-employment physical examinations and drug screening.What you will do

Direct Employee Health Operations to assure quality patient care delivery

Contribute to the effective management of the Employee Health Program

Participate in planning process for budgetary needs related to human resources, physical environment, equipment and supplies

Manage Human Resources to provide for the delivery of safe, cost-effective patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college/university with a major in public health/nursing preferred. In some instances excellence of performance and quality of experience may be considered for individuals without a baccalaureate degree

A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing, Urgent Care, Emergency Room or occupational health clinic

Managerial experience with clinical staffing and database management required

Current Nursing license preferred, State of Connecticut and/or Massachusetts

Physical Assessment skills; organizational ability, working knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA regulations
