The Manager will partner with finance leadership to manage risk, assure accuracy, and contribute to the growth of the team.Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships and communication with Client Finance Partners and Controllership leaders.

Proactively identify opportunities in Publicis Sapient’s Contract to Cash processes where inefficiencies exist and drive process improvement.

Set operational goals and work with other internal and external customers to attain those goals.

Responsible for reviewing contracts and recording revenue as appropriate.

Advise legal and business units in contract language.

Foster a culture of continual process improvement and high quality, relevant reporting.

Assist in internal and external audit procedures.

Manage certain functions and responsibilities related to the financial close, ensuring that quality, accuracy and timeliness of that work is maintained.

Ability to manage a small group of people, with a particular focus on their personal development.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to impact an organization through process improvement initiatives, specifically within the Contract to Cash cycle.

Solid technical background with the ability to translate technical decisions/strategies into business terms and implications.

Ability to interpret and apply IFRS guidelines.

Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure within a high-volume environment with strict deadlines.

Experience in applying revenue related guidance under IFRS a big plus.

Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and ensure timely completion with minimal supervision.

Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to establish credibility, make decisions, and forge relationships.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals at a very high level. Effectively present information and respond to questions from senior leadership.

Independently drive process improvement across the global Revenue team.

Gather, monitor, critically review and analyze information.

Strong Excel skills.

Experience in SAP a plus.

Flexibility during the month end close required to meet deadlines.

Education:

BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance with 6+ years of public or private accounting experience

Additional InformationPay Range: $90,000 - $115,000The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient.
