Machine Operator (1st or 2nd Shift)

Express Employment Professionals is seeking Machine Operators for a personal-care item manufacturer in Buffalo, NY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity!

Once hired on this company offers competitive pay with excellent benefits, including generous paid time off and a $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift.

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 4pm-2:30am

Pay: $17.50-19.00/hr

Job Duties:

-Ability to detect equipment malfunctions or miss-alignments visually and by listening to the machine's noise

-Operating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining machines

-Communicate quality, material, and production issues to the supervisor

-Keep the area clean and organized at all times

Required Skills and Work Experience:

-Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing setting

-Attention to detail and accuracy in work is a must

-Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.

-Ability to push/pull using a pallet jack

-Ability to reach and bend frequently

-Ability to go up and down ladders

-Must have good verbal and written communication skills

-Mechanical ability

-Ability to work well with others
