Within this role, commercial reporting responsibilities will include data collection, forecast creation, and analysis to evaluate portfolio and GTM strategies. Contribution to the pricing strategy will include executing regional analysis, partnering with Reps to assist with quotes, and reporting on pricing strategy progress. This role will support operations initiatives through ongoing analysis of portfolio strategy and product lifecycle management plan effectiveness and developing and recommending processes that optimize performance.Reporting & Analytics:
Develop scalable and automated planning tools and key reports and provide analytical support to make recommendations to leaders. Develop and execute key initiatives and project short-term and long-term performance.
Partner with Commercial Operations Manager to implement strategic sales plans, initiative definitions and tracking, standardized reporting, and accessible visualizations to measure performance to plan.
Serve as subject matter expert on forecast creation and maintain data that drives forecast calculations in Tableau.
Complete special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.
Pricing & Profitability:
Provide comprehensive data analysis on key trends and influencers of orders, including pricing, rebates, and commissions.
Identify root cause of macro business unit orders trends at relevant micro (regional, customer, product, etc.) level.
Execute optimized price, margin, rebate, and commission strategies through cross-functional partnership with Product Management and Pricing.
Identify pricing best practices, automate analytics, and generate operational efficiency with Rep partners.
Provide quotations from material take off.
Portfolio Strategy:
Ongoing analysis of Sinks & Faucets 80/20 data and opportunities to enhance, streamline and grow portfolio.
Support analysis and execution of product rationalization strategy and product lifecycle management plans.
Work with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preference in business, finance, or marketing
Broad experience using analytical tools: Tableau, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Excel, online analytics tools, and proprietary databases
Professional Tableau exposure with focus to detail, analytics, and process
Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Access)
Excellent analytical, critical-thinking and communication skills
Customer-driven sense of urgency
Prioritizes workload and maintains accuracy in all work while managing multiple tasks / projects with adherence to critical deadlines
Drives to find the best solutions, incorporating innovation and efficiency improvements where feasible
Ability to communicate well with different levels within the organization and with customers
