Warehouse Operator & Delivery Driver

Sustainable Island Products is looking for a full time Warehouse Operator & Delivery Driver to join our family-owned and operated company that distributes compostable packaging, recycled paper products, and glass containers.

This is a multi-faceted position in a warehouse environment focusing on receiving inventory, pulling orders for deliveries and will calls for customers throughout Kauai.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Fulfill orders by pulling product for daily deliveries, will calls, and outgoing shipments

Ensuring accuracy of orders with one other employee or supervisor

Responsible for accurately and efficiently stocking product in warehouse by utilizing lift truck or other equipment to receive product into the warehouse

Manage inventory in warehouse and restock as needed

Interact with customers in a professional manner

Follow all safety requirements

Education:

High School Degree or GED

Experience

Experience in a busy warehouse setting

Customer relations experience

Other:

Ability to self-direct, multitask and set priorities according to various deadlines

Ability to be insured by insurance company for driving of company vehicles

Repeatedly able to lift up to 50 pounds

Pass general work physical

Clean driving record

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
