Rotates through diagnostic radiology as assigned and performs all responsibilities outlined in the Computed Tomography (CT) Tech job description. Involved in the practice of radiation and general safety at all times.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
For West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland locations:
If hired before 4/1/2024:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1.Certification in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the NMTCB.
2.Radiologist Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners, or applicable state where services will be performed.
3.Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days of hire.
4.Computed Tomography certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB within 2 years of hire.
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year of computed tomography experience.If hired on or after 4/1/2024:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1.Certification in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the NMTCB.
2.Radiologist Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners, or applicable state where services will be performed.
