Position: Full-Time Flooring Installer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced flooring installer who is willing to relocate to Juneau, Alaska. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and commercial flooring. You will be responsible for preparing subfloors, measuring and cutting materials, installing flooring with precision, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl.

- Prepare subfloors by leveling, cleaning, and repairing surfaces as needed.

- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit around obstacles and within specific spaces.

- Install flooring with attention to detail, ensuring a high-quality finish.

- Work on both residential and commercial projects, often under tight deadlines.

- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth project execution.

- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in flooring installation, with expertise in carpet, hardwood, and commercial projects.

- Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and tools.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Willingness to relocate to Juneau, Alaska.

- Physical ability to perform the tasks associated with flooring installation, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
