Principle Intelligence Protective Service is a full-service security agency providing security consultation, physical security, private investigations, and close protection in the Atlanta Metro area.

We are seeking experienced Georgia licensed armed officers to work in multi-family communities. This specific hiring is for part-time armed officer in East Point and in Southwest Atlanta. Assigned hours will be Thursday - Sunday from 2100 - 0100 (4 hours). Candidates must have their own approved firearm and ammunition, and professional security equipment. Must be certified to carry said security equipment and provide copies of certifications. Candidate must be able to pass a background check.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Must possess a current Georgia Blue Card (Armed Security License) from the Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agencies.

Must be able to obtain armed security license as employee with Principle Intelligence from the Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agencies.

Must possess a current Georgia Driver's License

Other Requirements:

No illegal drug use in the past two years, to include marijuana

One year experience in customer service is preferred.

Work well alone and in team environments

Perform security patrols of designated areas either on foot or vehicle.

Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.

Answer or respond to alarms (on site) as dispatched or witnessed and investigate related disturbances.

Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premise.

Have the ability to report suspicious activities and persons, write detailed reports, maintain daily activity reports (DARs), enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.

Have the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.

Have the ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.

Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlock doors, security violations, blocked ingress and egress mechanical problems, and unauthorized personnel.

Occasionally during shift stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders.

Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs.

Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat.

Operate and monitor close circuit television system.

Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures.

Complete ongoing training as required.

Subject to random drug testing,

Supplemental Pay:

Night differential after 2200
