Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Analyst (IT) III (Senior) in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is in the financial industry and will focus on data management. The selected candidate will be working remotely, but a location in Boston or New York will be preferred. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive data remediation plan to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with various teams to identify gaps in data quality and devise strategies to address these issues. Regularly monitor and track the progress of data remediation efforts and provide updates to management. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to safeguard data quality. Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend efficient procedures. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of data remediation efforts. Identify and resolve any obstacles that could impede the success of remediation activities. Proactively communicate with clients and stakeholders to address any mitigation concerns or questions. Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL for data transformation and management. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Visual Basic (VB) is required Demonstrated experience in management, planning, and hiring processes Strong knowledge of procedures, budget processes, and business process functions Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations Experience in data management, data integrity, and data quality Familiarity with coding, test cases, and process improvement techniques Ability to use Assertion Markup Language and Excel Macros is a plus Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken Experience in risk mitigation and remediation processes Understanding of internal policies and regulations Ability to perform tasks involving data management and ensure data quality.
