Description Title: Tax Director Location: San Francisco (Hybrid)Salary: 200k-250kAbout the Company: Our company is a fast-paced, dynamic organization that provides comprehensive wealth management services. We specialize in serving high net worth individuals, closely held businesses, partnership investments, estates, trusts, and private foundations. Our integrated approach to family wealth planning encompasses estate and financial planning, equity compensation models, and complex tax regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Provide federal, state, and local personal and trust income tax services.
Conduct thorough research on tax regulations in various jurisdictions and newly promulgated regulations at federal and state levels.
Manage complex Schedules K-1, foreign reporting, and multi-state filings.
Maintain effective working relationships with clients, their trusted advisors, and peers.
Explain complex tax concepts to clients, advisors, and others in an understandable manner.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
CPA certification with 7+ years’ experience, preferably "Big 4" tax experience.
Proven understanding of integrated family wealth planning, incentive stock options, various equity compensation models, and QSBS stock.
Familiarity with UltraTax and/or CCH Axcess, Microsoft Office programs and relevant software.
Salesforce experience is a plus.
