ON SITE 18-Month Contract based in any of the cities listed below. Location: Hillsboro, OR; Redmond, WA; Raleigh, NC; Silicon Valley, CA (Hybrid 3x a week)Pay: $68-$75 Hourly

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is responsible for delivery of IP blocks in silicon engineering. Our team designs blocks for silicon engineering.

Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:

50% meetings

50 % heads down, updates, emails, tracking, etc.

Candidate Requirements

Years of Experience Required: 4+ overall years of experience in the field.

Degrees or certifications required: BA in engineering or related degree is required to be eligible for this role.

Disqualifiers: Candidates with industry mismatches or no silicon design experience will not be eligible for the role

Best vs. Average: Any type of design or analog or mixed signal silicon IP design.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

Minimum 3-4 years experience with Basic program management techniques- Gantt chart, waterfalling, etc.

Minimum 3-4 years experience with Microsoft, excel, Microsoft project, one note, Power BI

Minimum 2 years experience with Silicon engineering

Summary:

Interface with clients, as required, on technical matters and/or project subject matters from project initiation through delivery.

Provide program/project schedules and status reports.

Create the functional specification, requirements and/or scope that will be used as a tool in making decisions as to how the product, service and/or project will be implemented.

Provide technical and/or analytical information to Product Managers, as required.

Organize cross functional activities ensuring that the program is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

May manage/oversee project.

Candidate must be familiar with managing silicon design projects.

Desirable for candidate to have experience with managing analog/mixed-Signal IP.

Candidate should be familiar with tracking project through execution phases, milestone reviews, negotiation collateral and deliverables with internal SoC Customers, and rolling up common indicators for tracking silicon design health.
