Experienced Handyman/Home Improvement Workers

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, good communication skills and work well with others.

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Work orders may include, but not limited to:

Fixing plumbing issues like leaks, clogged drains, faulty faucets or shower bodies.

Conducting electrical repairs, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.

Installing or repairing flooring, including tiles, vinyl, or laminate.

Install or repair doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures.

Carry out painting, plastering, and drywall repairs.

Installing household appliances.

Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Assist with other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or property manager.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including photos of completed work and materials purchased.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years experience as a handyman or in a similar role.

Proficiency in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must have a phone and be able to take and send photos of all completed work via WhatsApp.

Must be ok with traveling to different locations/job sites

High school diploma or equivalent.
