Supplemental InformationThe Division of Administration/Office of Human Resources has a vacancy. This position may be filled in the Operations/Benefits unit. This vacancy will be filled by new hire or by promotion of a current permanent status classified employee. A permanent status employee may be required to serve a new probationary period in lieu of promotion. Louisiana is a "State as a Model Employer" for People with Disabilities. This vacancy participate in a career progression group and may be filled from this recruitment as a Human Resources Analyst A (AS-612), Human Resources Analyst B (AS-613), Human Resources Analyst C (AS-615), or Human Resources Specialist (AS-617) depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant. The maximum salary for the Human Resources Specialist is $91,894. This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) as follows:

If filled as a HR Analyst A, the SER is $1,394.40 biweekly.

If filled as a HR Analyst B, the SER is $1,491.20 biweekly.

If filled as a HR Analyst C, the SER is $1,648.00 biweekly.

If filled as a HR Specialist, the SER is $1,821.60 biweekly.

This position also has retention pay of $1.00 per hour for each hour worked.

A criminal history check may be conducted on all new hires as well as employees changing positions including promotions, demotions, details, reassignments and transfers. Also, prospective employees may be subject to pre-employment drug testing. New hires will be subject to employment eligibility verification via the federal government's E-verify system.
