Event Servers Needed @ Harvest Kitchen Catering in North County!
Harvest Kitchen is a high-end, successful organic event catering company based in North County San Diego. We cater in Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and Indio nearly every weekend and need some local amazing Servers to join our team to help execute flawlessly!
Must be available Saturdays. And some Friday nights. We do our best to post open shifts on our schedule at least 3 weeks in advance so you can work around your full-time job or schedule.We offer a mileage reimbursement program to help with costs for traveling to/from events.
Harvest Kitchen is made up of a team of dedicated creatives, focused on maintaining our 5-star reviews for all our weddings. We work at some of the coolest venues and create amazing food + experiences.
Job Summary:
Event Servers at Harvest Kitchen mainly work weddings; tray passing appetizers, serving dinner, bussing dishes, and ultimately making sure all guests have a great experience. Our best servers are upbeat, positive team players with a polished, professional appearance, who are hard working and match our Core Values of CARE. Servers are not scheduled directly, you are responsible for picking up shifts in our scheduling app When I Work. Shifts are opened 1-2 months before the event, but shifts also sometimes become available week-of. If you pickup a shift, you are responsible to work it or find a replacement if you can no longer make it.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow directions from the Event Captain, Lead Server, and Chef Captain
- Tray pass appetizers, bussing tables, serving dinner
- Attend to guests needs
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent customer service & problem solving skills
- High energy, positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Hospitality, serving/hosting or customer service experience
Physical Requirements:
-Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
-Ability to lift 30 pounds
-Work in a variety of weather conditions (hot/cold)
