Job Location: On-Site, Las Vegas, 215 & Eastern exit

Job Summary:

The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services necessary for the company’s operations. The role involves analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to ensure the company maintains a steady supply of high-quality materials at competitive prices. The Buyer will collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and suppliers to meet production goals and optimize procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Procurement:

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability criteria.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals.

Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.

Supplier Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.

Monitor and assess supplier performance, addressing issues as they arise.

Conduct regular supplier reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels and adjust procurement strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.

Work with the inventory team to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and emerging suppliers.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure procurement activities align with company goals.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.

Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

If you have experience; 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or buying role, hourly rate is negotiable.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of supply chain management principles.

Certifications: (Optional) Certification in Procurement, such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Location: Primarily office-based

Hours: Standard business hours, with some flexibility required during peak periods.
