PC/Printer Tech Needed

New Computech, Inc. specializes in Computers, Printers & Networks (sales & service) we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced PC/Printer tech to join our team. The successful applicant will have a strong background in printer/pc knowledge, and field service. The position requires a service technician with expertise in equipment repair and a familiarity with OEM products. The candidate should also be customer service-oriented and comfortable working with schematics, hand tools, and computer hardware. Experience with IT systems and networking is a plus. Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repair of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend the life span

of the machines.

- Troubleshoot technical issues with printers and other related equipment, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.

- Conduct on-site field service calls to diagnose and repair printing equipment in customers' locations.

- Utilize computer networking skills to install and configure printers in various settings.

- Collaborate with the IT department to integrate printers with computer systems.

- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service calls.

- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in printing equipment.

- Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders to ensure their printing needs are met.

- Use hand tools and computer hardware to perform tasks efficiently.

- Repair and replace printer parts and components, including those from OEM manufacturers.

- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of printing equipment.

Requirements:

- A strong background in pc/printer knowledge, computer networking, and field service.

- Experience as a service technician with a focus on equipment repair.

- Familiarity with OEM products and their specifications.

- Proficiency with hand tools and computer hardware.

- Experience with IT systems and network configurations.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
