At Banning’s Restaurant and Pie House, we’ve been serving up delicious dishes and exceptional service for 45 years in Tigard, Oregon. As a cherished spot for both locals and visitors, we’re committed to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor to create a lasting first impression
- Manage the waitlist efficiently and accurately
- Guide guests to their tables and ensure their comfort
- Collaborate with servers and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely seating
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and special needs with care and professionalism
- Assist with to-go and online orders
- Take bakery orders
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the host area and lobby
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and excel in a high-energy environment
- Positive attitude, teamwork-oriented, and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
