Preventitive Maintenance Tech - Take Home Van

We are looking for a Preventative Maintenance worker to perform preventative maintenance, clean up, and upkeep to convenience store properties, gas station properties, car wash properties, and other commercial properties.

We have properties in 6 counties that will be serviced. This position will move from one property to the next.

Experience working maintenance at gas stations and convenience stores is a plus.

You will be responsible for the following scope of work at each property, keeping in mind some will be done every trip to a site, while others might be once or twice per year.

Replace water filters as needed

Replace fuel filters as needed

Replace fuel hoses, swivels, and dispenser handles as needed

Replace HVAC filters as needed

Clean grab n go coolers – shop vac underneath, on each site visit

Clean all refrigeration related coils and equipment you are able to on each site visit

Clean AC coils on each site visit

Grease fittings at car washes as needed.

Inspect car wash equipment and lines for leaks.

Paint property areas such as bollards and islands and where minor touch of paint is needed.

Paint concrete bollards as needed if peeling.

Paint fuel field lids when needed.

Pressure wash parking lots and buildings as needed, minimum of once per year, most likely twice.

Leaf blow parking lots while on site to clean dirt and debris

Clean store front windows as best as you can reach on each site visit

Look over the building exterior and inside shed for pests such as wasp nests, or evidence of rodents.

Reset mouse traps in sheds as needed.

Clean gutters 2-3 times per year.

Possibly perform basic preventative maintenance on slushy and coffee machines

Experience Requirements

Proven hands on experience in a relative or other similar position

Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, no schooling or license required, just basic knowledge

Experience using hand and electrical tools

Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic hand tools required

Experience in cloud based mobile software application preferred, training will be provided

High school diploma or equivalent

Clean driving record

Any experience with coffee machines, slushy machines, or other convenience store equipment is a plus.

Compensation

Wage based on experience

Take home van and gas card provided
