Our Foster Care Case Managers work closely with children, biological family and foster parents to address safety concerns, facilitate stronger relationships and help families develop a healthier lifestyle. The ultimate goal is to help each child reunite with their biological family or identify a forever family when reunification isnt possible.Our Foster Care Case Managers make a positive impact on the lives of the children and families they work with by providing ongoing support, effective advocacy, education and service coordination. Provide services in clients homes, office and/or community setting.
Assess clients strengths and needs, coordinate service referrals and develop appropriate service plans.
Document client progress and provide regular updates in meetings and at court.
Maintain client files and ensure they are up to date.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with community stakeholders and professional team members.
Staff in this position will occasionally be on-call which includes weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Guidance Counseling, Drug and Alcohol Counseling or other Human Behavior Science.
Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements.
Two years experience working in child welfare and/or working with children or families is preferred.
Starting pay between $43,000 and $46,000 depending upon experience.We are an equal opportunity employer.
